Rev Cliff Shanganya was born in Zimbabwe. He is married to Christine and they are blessed with a 24 year old son called Divine.

Cliff was ordained in the United Methodist Church of Zimbabwe in 2001. He left there in 2003, going to Botswana where he served as a missionary until 2007.

Due to political instability in the Southern region of Africa, Cliff moved from Botswana to the United Kingdom where he has since settled. In 2008 Cliff went to Leeds College of Music, and studied Music Recording and Production. After that he enrolled to study Contextual Theology at Queen's Foundation, and Chaplaincy with University of Gloucestershire where he graduated in 2014.

In 2015 he joined NHS Scotland where he worked as Hospital Chaplain in Glasgow before being stationed as a Methodist Minister in Norfolk Central Circuit in 2017. He was then received into Full Connection with the Methodist Church of Great Britain in 2019.

Cliff and his wife Christine are Gospel musicians.

They are also the founders of the World is My Parish Children's Foundation.

Cliff has pastoral charge of the congregations of Hampshire Avenue, Ledger's Road and St Andrew's Methodist Churches.
