Pete has been a Methodist Minister for 30 years. Most of that time he has been teaching at Cliff College and at St John’s College in Durham University. Pete trained at Wesley College in Bristol where he also began to do some postgraduate work in New Testament/Theology. He also completed his PhD at Sheffield while at Cliff College as New Testament Tutor. Pete was Faith and Order Secretary of the Methodist Church for a while as his work shifted to focus more on digital theology. He now works half-time for Spurgeon’s College, while heading up the Centre for Digital Theology there looking at how digital and faith work together in today’s church.
Pete is a family man – married to Theresa with three adult children and one grandchild (so far)! He loves technology, football, travel and reading – especially sci-fi. Micah 6:8 is his spiritual motto: “Act justly, love loving, be humble in your walk with God”.
Pete is a half-time Minister with pastoral charge of High Street Maidenhead and St Mark’s Crescent churches.
